Crossroads Community Care Centre is holding its’ 2015 Annual General Meeting on Tuesday the 29th of September at 10:30 am at Miranda RSL/Diggers Club. We will be featuring speakers on the topic of :
Change is difficult, for each individual as well as for societies. What allows people and communities to find the determination to make change? Who inspires us to do so, and how do they do it? Hear from:
- Craig Curtis from Department of Justices’ ‘Life on Track’
- And from a survivor of a sociopathic stalker
We will be ending with a performance by Yvonne McColl.

Crossroads Community Care Centre is offering free help with your tax return from a tax help volunteer.
Appointments are available every Monday between 10:15am and 2:15pm and will be running till the 26/10/2015.

Crossroads will be running a women’s healing, relaxation and connection group. This group will run on the last Wednesday of every month starting the 26th August 2015, from 10:30am to 12pm
This group will include:
- Relaxation through meditation.
- Expressing yourself through art therapy.
- Self care tips and strategies.
- Building connections with other women.
- Strengthening skills of conversation and optimism.
- Pamper days

More 1-2-3 Magic is a program running at Crossroads which gives parents tools for effective discipline for children and tweens.
It takes a look at encouraging good behaviour and strengthening your relationship.
Sessions will be held every Wednesday from the 20th May 2015 until the 24th June 2015 from 11am till 12.30pm at the Centre.

Survivor Support is a group for Adult Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse.
Where: Crossroads Community Care Centre Inc.
When: Individual talks in February for the group to start in March for 10 weekly meetings.

Crossroads will be holding monthly meetings offering support, information, coping strategies & practical strategies for women experiencing Post Separation Abuse.

At Crossroads Community Care Centre we have groups that meet regularly on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis. All our groups meet at the Centre located within Westfield Miranda.
Monday – University of the Third Age French Intermediate 10am – 12pm followed by French Conversation 12pm – 1pm
Tuesday – University of the Third Age The Rise and Fall of Ancient Civilisations 10am – 12pm
Thursday – University of the Third Age World History and Developments 10am – 12pm followed by Al Anon Family Groups 12:30 – 1:30pm
Friday – Scrabble Group 10am – 12pm
Friday – Women’s Friendship Group 11am – 1pm
Wednesday – Miranda Book Club 1pm – 2pm

We will be running another series of Rainbows groups at Crossroads Community Care Centre Inc. in 2015.
Rainbows is a FREE weekly peer support program for children aged 4-16 years who have experienced significant loss or grief.
Groups will run weekly starting on Wednesday 18th February 2014 for 10-weeks.

Registrations will close on Friday 6th February 2015.
Crossroads Community Care Centre Inc. will be closed for the Christmas break from Monday 22nd December 2014 and will reopen on Monday 12th January 2015.
