1-2-3 Magic Effective Discipline for Children 2-12 years is a humourous look at parenting however its also a program that takes a serious look at discipline.
Over six sessions parents will learn simple techniques to get children to STOP doing what you don’t want them to do, learn several effective techniques to get your children to START doing what you want them to do and learn powerful techniques that reinforce the bond between parent and child.
Crossroads Community Care Centre Inc. will be running the 1-2-3 Magic Parenting Program from 1pm till 2:15pm every first and third Wednesday of the month starting from 2nd April 2014.

The 2014 Women of the Year Awards were presented on 7 March 2014 (the eve of International Women’s Day) at Parliament House. These Awards recognise the many achievements of women across NSW.
This year 239 nominations were received from across NSW highlighting the outstanding achievements and contributions that women are making in our state and our coordinator Christine Bird won the 2014 Miranda Woman of the Year Award.
Christine was nominated by Local Member for Miranda Mr Barry Collier MP as the 2014 Miranda Woman of the Year. She was recognised for her 25 years of service at Crossroads Community Care Centre Inc. helping women and children who are victims of domestic violence and also for her work assisting people suffering from social isolation, personal trauma and mental health issues.
