As a Community Hub, Crossroads provides office space and meeting rooms where people from the local community can attend workshops, special interest courses and groups. It is also a place of planning and community building, where local residents, committees and community services meet to talk, consult and review.
Most importantly it is the place where people can come in or phone to get information about issues of personal or social concern and to find out where to turn to when they need extra support.
Lastly it is a place where government departments can quickly and easily find an accessible service in which to place and deliver new community service programs, without incurring costly overheads.
